I’m in my 50s and the mother of two daughters. I’ve never heard of a push gift before. Never have girlfriends, female coworkers, or my mother and aunties ever brought up the concept. My mother was in the delivery room for my first child’s birth because my husband was deployed to the Middle East during the 1990 Gulf War. We suffered several miscarriages before and between our two viable pregnancies. I absolutely agree, for us, our daughters were the gifts we both received.
